Vue Orleans | School Groups

Vue Orleans is proud to enhance cultural experiences for the the youth of our city. Get ready to enjoy the spectacular Vue Orleans 360° observation deck and interactive experience high above the Mississippi River.

School Group Information for the 2023 – 2024 School Year


We offer the following for non-profit schools with proper identification:

  • One (1) complimentary chaperone for every ten (10) students.
    • Chaperones MUST be 18+ years of age
    • A group MUST have at least one (1) chaperone for every ten (10) students

Booking Guidelines:

  • Our group prices are ONLY available Monday through Thursday during the school year, August 8, 2023 – May 25, 2024.
  • We have a daily limit of 100 students cumulatively with all schools.
  • We request a minimum of 2 weeks’ notice to book a school group, regardless of size.

Facility Guidelines:

  • Buses can drop off and pick up at our entrance, but staging is prohibited.
  • No outside food or beverages are allowed in our facility (bottled water exempted).
  • We do not have a student dining area available. Please contact us directly for lunch options nearby.

Payment Information:

  • We ask that once you receive an account number from us, your current account balance be cleared on one credit card and in one transaction, or by an approved school check.
  • We ask that you clear your current balance at least five (5) business days before your expected group arrival.

The mission of our staff is to provide the best possible experience for your students. However, you and your chaperones are ultimately responsible for the actions and behavior of your group.

To ensure the best experience for your students, please have them separated into groups of 10 with their assigned chaperones before arrival.

Please ensure that your chaperones always keep your students in their line of sight.

Vue Orleans Code of Conduct

  1. No bicycles, scooters, tricycles, skateboards, roller/in-line skates, or shoes with wheels are permitted within Vue Orleans.
  2. Bags, packages, and luggage must be within the following dimensions for admissions: no more than 25” high x no more than 17” wide and no more than 9” deep. Vue Orleans has no lockers or storage facilities.
  3. No horseplay, running, or climbing is permitted in Vue Orleans.
  4. Fighting, provoking, or engaging in disorderly or boisterous conduct is prohibited.
  5. Offensive, abusive, or threatening language or behavior is prohibited.
  6. Firearms or any other type of weapon (knives, box cutters, or any other potential weapon determined at the discretion of Vue Orleans staff) are not permitted. Fireworks are not allowed.
  7. Guests are required to wear proper attire. Shirts and shoes must be worn at all times.
  8. Displays of profane, obscene or injurious language, texts, or graphics for public view are prohibited. Guests displaying such language on clothing will be asked to change the garment or otherwise cover the offensive image/language.
  9. No guest is allowed to create any activity that could be described as a performance, a show, or a happening, make a declaration or speech, create a media event or photo opportunity, or give organized speaking tours of the exhibit without prior approval from Vue Orleans Management.
  10. Indecent exposure, sexual acts, or behavior are prohibited.
  11. Guests may take pictures or videos with a handheld camera or recording device for personal use only.
  12. Professional photo equipment, video cameras, recording devices, tripods, lights, and other such equipment are only permitted with prior approval from Vue Orleans Management.
  13. Vue Orleans is a non-smoking facility.
  14. Food or beverages must be consumed in designated areas only. No outside food or drinks are permitted.
  15. The use of illegal or illicit drugs is strictly prohibited in the exhibit.
  16. No vandalism. It is illegal to deface, damage, mutilate, or destroy Vue Orleans property, including but not limited to exhibits or equipment, including altering or tampering with computers or software. Handling exhibits or equipment without the Vue Orleans staff's presence and/or permission is prohibited.
  17. No trespassing. Guests may not enter Vue Orleans areas designated for staff only.
  18. No loitering. Vending, begging, gambling, selling, soliciting, campaigning, petitioning, or handing out information of any kind within the exhibit is prohibited.
  19. Disability assistance equipment such as wheelchairs, walkers, canes, and electric scooters are permitted. However, upright or “Segway” scooters are not allowed.
  20. Children (ages 17 and under) must be supervised at all times. Unattended children are not permitted entry to Vue Orleans. For youth/student groups, at least one escort is required for every ten children.
  21. It is not permitted to throw ANYTHING off the outdoor observation deck. Throwing any object or item off the outdoor observation deck is extremely dangerous to those on the ground and could result in severe injury or death. Security will escort anyone doing so off the property, and they may be subject to criminal prosecution.
